Chris Palmer

Chris preached his first sermon at the age of 14 and saw the Lord use him to turn hearts back to his son Jesus Christ. He has been doing so ever since. In 2001, as a senior in high school, Chris began conducting meetings in the basement of a local home on Sunday evenings. These “Anointing Meetings” brought in individuals from all different local high schools. During the eight months of these weekly services, teenagers were delivered from depression, set free from sin, and taught how to live as light in a dark world. The lasting influence of those meetings is still witnessed in those people’s lives today.

Before graduating high school, Chris heard the Lord say “now add knowledge upon your zeal.” In obedience Chris began attending North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Here he developed a depth of knowledge from the Word of God that would serve as a foundation for his ministry today. He graduated in 2006 with a B/A in Pastoral Studies and a minor in Bible.

Chris returned to Michigan and accepted a ministerial position at Word of Faith International Christian Center in Southfield, MI, pastored by Bishop Keith Butler. Chris served on staff for just over two years and was able to serve a dynamic work of the Lord. Here he gained extensive pulpit experience frequently ministering in regular services. He served as an instructor in the ministerial training school and has conducted a great deal of funerals and weddings. Time away from the pulpit was spent on a personal level in hospitals and homes, encouraging the sick and comforting the weak. God was training Chris to love people, submit to authority, and mature in the giftings of the Holy Ghost. In September 2008, Chris was released by His Heavenly Father to begin his mission of awakening this generation for Christ.

In January 2009 Chris Palmer launched Chris Palmer Ministries. Chris Palmer Ministries is an evangelistic ministry dedicated to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world in need. God spoke to Chris from Psalms 27:13 saying, “I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness (anointing) of the Lord in the land of the living (a generation),” and set this as the heart of CPM. 

Chris is gifted by God to flow in the gifts of the Holy Ghost, particularly the word of knowledge, prophecy, and gifts of healing. Within his sermons, subjects such as repentance before God, the believer’s new position in Christ, cooperation with the Holy Ghost, and unshakeable faith in God can be noted. 

As this ministry continues Chris is passionate enough to reach the “unreachable”, daring enough to believe for the miraculous, and sincere enough to give God the glory.
